This new Island resort is exclusive and can only accommodate only 30 people, which ensures a special atmosphere and a tentative service. The boasts of 15 magnificent cottages built on local traditional materials and topped with thatched roofs. The cottages are discretely scattered along the beach line, all of them with panoramic views of the clear waters of the Indian Ocean, ensuring maximum privacy and seclusion.

The tiny island of Bawe offers breathtaking marine life. The waters around the island are an excellent location for diving and snorkeling. A visit the sister island Prison island with its Giant tortoises can be organized from Bawe. While staying at Bawe you also have the option of visiting the ancient Stone town on Zanzibar 'mainland'. However the main activity on Bawe Island is relaxing at the beach or the pool, with a cocktail, maybe a massage.

The cottages have been  built in such a way that they allow the sea breeze to circulate and cool the rooms day and night, while there is no air conditioning.
