Perched on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater Lemala camp in  Ngorongoro is an intimate, seasonal camp set ina private campsite amongst mature acacia trees close to the northern decent road and with glancing views of the crater itself. The consist of  only 8 luxury tents offering accommodation under Canvas (accommodates 16 to 20 guests) and 1 family tent (accommodating 4 to 5 guests), which ensures seclusion in a pristine forest environment.The Ngorongoro Crater Lemala cam dining tent is beautifully furnished with grand sofas, lamps, book shelves and corner cabinets in old wood, chests and rugs. After the days activities, guests gather around the campfire for sundowners before dining under chandeliers, which is hosted by the camp manager. For cultural interaction the camp works closely with the local Masai community who often provide dances and talks on Masai life, their cultures, traditions and ceremonies. Providing a great opportunity for the guests to interact with the Masai, learning more about their traditional lifestyles.Descending into the crater floor from Ngorongoro Crater Lemala camp is quick and easy, this maximizes game viewing opportunities. The morning crater traffic is therefore avoided. Game drives from the camp may start as early as 6.15am and it only takes 15 minutes to descend onto the crater floor, the scenery is breath-taking and the wildlife abundant. Very often Lemala clients are on their own on the crater floor, enjoying the solitude and early morning light. Guests staying at Ngorongoro Crater Lemala camp enjoy longer and significantly higher quality game drives.The Ngorongoro Crater Lemala camp is also in close proximity to Ol Moti and Empakai craters, which offer beautiful landscapes and scenery. Walking safari from the camp into the forest and along the crater rim together with an armed ranger and the Masai gives guests spectacular panoramas of the crater and an insight into the forest dwelling animals.
