New Attractions in Tanzania
Visiting Tanzania is one of the trips that will remain in the memory of your life. Conservation of Tanzania’s attractions and natural resources has made Tanzania the world’s second-largest tourist destination. The Tanzanian government has recently announced six new attractions in Tanzania in southern and western Tanzania. This is an important step in the conservation of Africa’s natural resources. For now Tanzania has sixteen national parks, two of which are the largest in East Africa, including Ruaha National Park and Nyerere National Park (formerly known as the Selous Game reserve).
New attractions in Tanzania designated as national parks such as Ugalla River National Park (Ugalla Game reserve) Kigosi National Park, is an area located in the Moyogosi Game reserve. In addition, there are other areas such as Burigi-Chato, Ibanda Kyerwa, Rumanyika-Karagwe and the former Selous Game Reserve which is now known as Nyerere National Park.
Calabash Adventures Ltd invest in the western Tanzania to provide services to tourists traveling here. We provide accommodation and transportation services to enter the park. As with other Tour operators we have focused more on tourist services by performing various activities and providing tourist information to all visitors.
These new areas have been set aside as a strategic plan to improve the tourism industry in the country and expand the scope provided an opportunity to relax for national parks in the northern region. As well as providing an opportunity for tourists to see the new attractions of Tanzania.
These new attractions in Tanzania have been set aside because they have excellent attractions. You can certainly see beautiful landscapes and amazing wildlife that are not found in the northern national parks. The Tanzanian government is currently upgrading road infrastructure within new national parks. The government is also improving access roads to national parks in the western and southern regions. The government is therefore improving airports and security in new national parks.
New western Tanzania parks are located in the Malagarasi basin. This is a basin that carries the Malagarasi River which flows into Lake Tanganyika. These beautiful scenery and other scenery found in Lake Tanganyika make the western area very unique. For example, Mahale national park is a unique park as it is the only park bordering Lake Tanganyika and has wildlife that do not usually live together in normal life. Here you will find elephants, leopards, lions and chimpanzees living in together. The sunset in the Mahale national park is very interesting, especially considering it is located on the shores of Lake Tanganyika.
It should be noted that Lake Tanganyika is the second deepest in the world and is the longest lake in Africa. This area is home to a variety of colorful and interesting fish and over 750 birds, making diving trips very interesting. There are activities like fishing in many places with boat trips and canoeing trips. It is certainly a very dignified and peaceful place in the heart of any visitor. It is unlikely that every trip you make in this area will not be like any other, not only that but every trip you make here will make you wonder when you will return here.
The construction of a hydroelectric dam in the Stigler’s gorge area within the Nyerere National Park is likely to change the landscape of the park. but it does not make sense that Nyerere national park is important for conservation and tourism as well. This may also be beneficial to tourism in the event of improved boat trips and fishing tourism.
Other interesting places include Katavi national parks, Gombe Stream, Kalambo waterfalls, Rukwa game reserve, Issa Valley and other beautiful areas. As well as various activities such as cycling tourism, cultural tourism and night game drive. All of this is taking place in various parts of the national parks in southern and western Tanzania, like The Ugalla River and Kigosi. They are truly unique places, with a landscape that is very similar to the southern part of Africa. You will find savannah vegetation mixed with shrubs as well as miombo forests carrying wetlands. Many of the rivers in this area are slow-moving rivers, leading to high fish stocks, especially catfish and many other species found in African rivers.
In the southern and western Tanzania, you will see that tourism is becoming less and less due to the size of these areas, tourists visiting these parks do not match the size of the attractions at all. Although it is an opportunity for tourists who prefer to visit the attractions with a small number of tourists but it is also due to the lack of infrastructure available here. So infrastructure upgrades as well as hotel construction are important. Currently accommodation is tailored to the needs of tourists arriving daily. But once tourists realize the beauty of wildlife parks and other attractions, they will have to increase the number of beds in these areas.
