Packing tips for Tanzania Trip

Try not to over-pack. Other than the essential items unique to your family, & Calabash’s family-friendly lodges have everything you need to feel comfortable. Remember that most lodges have complimentary, or inexpensive laundry services, so rather have your clothes washed than lug too much stuff with you. Certain destinations in Africa may call for luggage restrictions, as certain light aircraft prefer soft bags to hard shell suitcases, so the less you need to pack, the better. Check the season and the weather constraints with your travel planner, and pack accordingly. Some areas in Tanzania can be very cold at night, while summer days are very hot. Remember that while COVID-19 is a reality, masks are mandatory, so make sure you have enough. These can be washed in your room at night, or added to your laundry.
